The Wolf Tooth Cinch rings feature our patented Drop-Stop® design for the best wear life, chain retention and mud clearance. The 3mm offset of this chainring suits Boost drivelines.. Drop-Stop ST Chainrings are only compatible with Shimano HG12 and KMC 12-Speed chains. CHOOSE YOUR OFFSET Standard MTB: 6mm offset for non-Boost mountain bikes, GXP and long spindle BB30 cranks for 49mm chainline Boost: 3mm offset for 52mm chainline Fat bikes: If your fat bike has a 170/177 rear hub spacing, use the standard 6mm offset Praxis Works Road/CX cranks use the 6mm offset. Praxis Works mountain cranks use the 3mm offset for their DM-A and 0mm offset for their DM-B chainrings. RECOMMENDATIONS We recommend the use of a clutch style rear derailleur for the best chain security. If you plan to ride in very muddy conditions, we recommend a chainguide or chainkeeper in addition to a clutch-type rear derailleur.
