These EC headsets are for frames with external bearing cups, which places the bearing outside of the frame with these headsets. The EC 44 Lower cup allows for the installation of a tapered fork (1.5" - 1 1/8" steerer) on a 44mm headtube, when paired with a ZS44 upper assembly. COMPATIBILITY Any frame that uses an external cup headset with a 44mm lower head tube inner diameter. Uppers and lowers sold separately.
