The Merida Matt's J20 is a Hardtail Mountain Bike which has been designed to the specific geometry and needs of a rider approx. 10-13 years old, or between 130-150cm in height. With carefully tailored components, such as the twist shifter and short reach brake lever, ensure that even the less experienced young cyclist can use their bikes safely and comfortably. The frame is manufactured from the same 6061 racelite aluminium as the adult’s bikes, they are also painted and lacquered in the same professional way, so they can handle more than a few hard knocks. 40mm of suspension travel up front helps smoothens things out, while the hydraulic disc brakes provide unrivaled stopping power. A modern 1x8 gear setup avoids confusion for younger riders while also reducing the number of components to maintain. Coming equipped with a kickstand, means this quality ride will not be left lying around. Integrated mounts for a rear rack and mudguards are also included.
